The feats behind the fête:
Memphis in May, North America's Largest Month Long International Festival.

Highlights and major areas of her presentation are as follows:
1.) The economic impact of the festival/how its funded - a bit about its history and mission.
2.) How a 16-member MIM staff divides and conquers by delegating to 17 volunteer committee chairs who are motivated to "own" their projects and manage their teams.
3.) Comparison/contrast of two (equally effective but very different) volunteer project management styles I've experienced under other committee chairs Mary Donald - Education Committee (retired military officer) and Dwight Haley - Path Committee (career in non-profit sector).
4.) How elaborate and far-reaching the whole event is -- much, much more than barbecue and music -- and I will hand out a schedule of the events.
Caroline Sposto Bio:
In the mid-1990s, Caroline Sposto and her husband James Sposto co-founded Sposto Interactive, a digital creative agency. Jumping into the internet with both feet in the early days felt risky, but it proved to be a sound move. No longer involved in the day-to-day operations of her company, Caroline has recently started writing fiction. Her stories have been published by “The Saturday Evening Post” and “Family Circle.” She is also active in the Memphis Community. One of her assorted volunteer endeavors is chairing the Speaker's Bureau for Memphis in May. Caroline has a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado and an M.S. In Electronic Media from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.
